Well, Arnold is all packed up and ready to go! It’s exciting, but sad all at once. We’ll miss him, but he’s promised to send us updates.
He said he’d asked Ernest to take over the role of Health and Safety Officer and given him instructions to look after us all.
Esther gave him a present we’d got him – a nice scarf to keep the draught out of his leather jacket. He said it was perfect.
Then he put on his helmet and got on his bike, and gave us a toot on the horn! Oh Arnold, you’re very brave!
He said we shouldn’t all go to see him off, so I went on my own. Bye Bye Arnold! Have a safe journey!
