Well, it’s been so hot today, we just had to get out on the green and soak up the sun!
Vincent and Ofelia especially enjoyed splashing about in the vaark friendly paddling pool. No risk of getting wet!
Dim and Matilda kept an eye on the barbecue. You’ve got to have a barbecue as soon as the sun comes out! It’s the law, I think.
We put up our new umbrella, it makes a great parasol for when you want to get out of the sun for a bit. And it keeps us safe from any falling satellites.
As it’s still early in the season, Peggy decided to wear her more modest bathing costume. Gino said she looks super whatever she wears.
As she didn’t need it, Esther borrowed Peggy’s straw hat, and had a snooze in the sun.
And of course, Winston brought the ice cream van along! Fury said she’d like a rocket lolly, please.
Ernest says you can’t beat a traditional vanilla cone with a flake. Just have to eat it quickly before it melts down the outside of the cone!
We had a lovely time, and on the way home, Bernard was very pleased to see that his broad beans have started to come up!
