Well, Arnold made it to Kentucky yesterday, just in time for the Kentucky Derby! All the racegoers were wearing their best hats, of course.
Arnold went to the paddock to see the runners. The jockeys were resplendent in silks and caps. And some of them are tiny!
Arnold’s not normally a gambler, but he thought it was ok to have a little bet at the races. He was tempted by Biscuit, of course, but something told him to put a dollar on Shergar.
And they’re off! What a sight, as they thunder past! Oh gosh, is Biscuit going to win after all?
No! Shergar pulled ahead, and won it by a clear length! Well done!
Arnold was very pleased to have had a bit of luck, and collected his winnings. The bookie? Not quite so pleased….
