The egg search is on!

Hello friends! Our humans are still very busy, but we persuaded them to let us have an Easter Egg Hunt, so let’s see what we find! Ofelia has sniffed out an egg in the spice rack.

Nano went hunting in the Roman building model that the humans have been working on, and found an egg in the colonnade.

Arnold was doing his routine fire extinguisher check, when he found his egg. And the fire extinguisher is fine, so that’s good.

Bernard went out the garden and found one, just in thyme!

Fury, of course, was in the workshop, and was lucky to find one on a chair in for repair. No need for power tools to get that out!

Hypno also went gardening, but in the Alpines window box, where he found an egg pretending to be a flower on a saxifrage. How pretty!

Esther looked hard in the pantry, and eventually spotted an egg, hiding in with the cereal.

Vincent went fishing for his egg, behind the ornament on top of the microwave!

Dim decided to go and ask the Old Toys for help, and sure enough, Lucy Rabbit had an egg in her apron pocket.

Peggy spotted an Easter egg in the Christmas cactus in the bathroom.

Winston went to the Kitchen Drawer Full of Useful Things, and sure enough, he found an egg there.

Being Italian, Gino was delighted to find his egg in the pasta cupboard. It even matches his jacket!

Microvaark remembered that bookcases are good places to look, and he was rewarded with an egg, and a lot of information!

Ernest thought he’d found a huge egg, but then he realised he was seeing it through the desk top magnifier in the Miniatures workshop.

So, everyone has gathered back in the kitchen to show off their eggs. But hang on….

I haven’t found an egg! I’ve looked and looked, but no luck!

Oh! Oh, I see. He meant “There’s a duck!” Hello!

So we’re all very happy! We’ve got lots of chocolate to share, and we’ve had fun, and made a new friend!

Where’s that egg?

Mrs Human told me she’d been too busy to hide lots of Easter eggs for us to find, but she’d hidden one big egg for us to share, so I called a meeting and we decided to split up and search.

Nanovaaark said he knew egg-actly where it would be. But when he asked the chick, she said there was no Easter Egg in her coop.

I thought it might be in the shed, but no, there was nothing but plant pots.

Microvaark went to look under the Bonsai tree, where it was nice and shady, but no egg.

Vincent and Hypno thought it might be on the 3D printer, but there was nothing there.

Peggy said it was bound to be around the sewing machine, so she and Gino went to look, but all they found was a bobbin.

Esther hoped to find it among the paints, and it was all very colourful, but no egg.

Ernest and Tessa thought it might be under the cupcake patterned cover, but when Ernest lifted the fabric, it was just the food processor.

Arnold looked, very carefully, in the oven, but it was empty.

Ofelia and Mary went to the pantry, and they found some eggs, but only normal ones. Mary said that in Welsh, egg was ‘wy’, and they were looking for a ‘wy pasg’ made of ‘siocled’.

Dim and Matilda went out to the flower garden but then Dim said Matilda was a beautiful as a flower, and they got distracted.

Fury thought she’d found a huge clue in the wood workshop but it turned out to have nothing to do with eggs.

Winston said he was going to look in the room with all the junk in it, but all he found was, well, junk.

Bernard thought about it, and wondered if there were any books on egg hunting, so he went to look. No. No. Hang on…

He found it! He was very excited and called us all to see. It’s dairy free, so we can share it with Mr Human, which is a bit of a blow, but never mind, there’ll be plenty to go round! Happy Easter everyone!
